Dispelling, and clickies.

Hey all, I am on a blue server and I fancy myself pretty good in a duel. I first started on old Tallon Zek (coin+1 item), so I am familiar with many aspects of PvP, but I still am looking for help on a couple of issues:

1) How exactly am I suspose to debuff someone with crystalized pumice in light of my 0 channeling skill and the pumice's cast time of 3 seconds? I mean before the attack if I sneak up on someone in the arena, if I want to debuff them it would seem I lose assassins strike disc. And if I try to use Assissins strike, and then want to debuff . . . I cant honestly say "hey stop attacking me pls, so I can debuff you, thanks." I know of egg shaped pumice and golem metal wand, but the wand is a b*tch to camp (honestly not sure if the 'sell, and buy' exploit still works to recharge the wand, but I doubt it), and well the egg shamed pumice is unavailable on blue servers. best I have is Crystalized pumice and Mrylokar's Gaunts. . .The 3 mentioned items are all I know of with the dispell effect. . .if I have missed some rogue usable dispelling items (that is better), let me know, pls. Also would like to know just how the heck I am supposed to debuff myself with crystalized pumice to remove dots and snare/roots. . .It seems everytime I try that crap, I get interupted, or the effect takes my shield of the arcane, or haste or something just plain useful. Yes I know how to properly buff for PvP (ie, junk, good, best, then remove 1-2 junk depending on number of junk buffs), it just seems its more at random, than in order.

2) I carry a array of clickies and effects . . . Basically I have a mask, ornate bp, legs, and gloves, jboots, lodi boots, fabled shrunken gobbie earing, old skool poisons, and ds potions, Resist magic potions, Fabled serrated bone dirk, Ensnaring concoctions (VI), Shiliskin fishing net, crystaline silk net, shiny brass idol, swollen fungus beats gland. . . um, bioluminesent orb, graveyard dust, Vial of swirling smoke, lizard blood potion, and a couple of other items in the bank (I do sometimes carry a few straithbone anti venoms, and a crimson potion. I found that the potion of blinding step is not what I want in a duel =P). . . Is there anything Usefull I am missing besides, Pegasus feather cloak, and the shield from Hate? Do stinging wort posions overwrite previous casts of stinging wort still (can I click through a 10dose for 3k worth of healing?)
Has anyone tried to use stunning concoctions in PvP to try to interupt necros or wizzies that like to Shadow step+Tap/nuke?

Any help, advice comment would be useful.

dod has aa called concentration which will allow you to channel, even just the first level of it makes a huge difference.

As for dispelling people, crystallized pumices are going to be the best readily available item on blue servers, though I also hate the 3 second cast. As Bjart said, the concentration aa REALLY helps.. I've got just the first rank, and can channel 5 sec cast clicks through being attacked quite regularly. Another thing you can try to enhance your dispelling capability is to farm the lantern from ssra basement. It is a 3 sec dispell with 10 charges, but the thing is, it is 4 slot rather than 2 slot. It drops from the first named skeleton as you enter the mines (he's in the first true room, on the right; not in the little entrance area). I forget his name, but easy enough to alla.

As for clickies that you don't have, the only that I can really think of are the various resist clickies from finishing DoD mission arcs. They stack with pretty much everything, and are especially useful as junk buffs because they are instant cast. Also, I'm not sure if it is viable for you or not, but if you could get some people together to kill Cursed cycle in ssra, his chain bp click is better than the ornate bp click IMO. It is 225hp, 40mr, 40cr. I experimented with concoctions some but have found them extremely easy to resist. Best way I've found to deal with casters who do that is to just run straight at them; given silk AC, you can usually do more damage with a combo of an attack round and BS('s) than they can with their spell, not to mention that you may just interrupt.
