Surnames

Does anyone know if Vanguard will handle surnames similarly to EQ1, or in another way? EQ1 had a level requirement before a surname could be chosen, but most other games allow it to be chosen during character creation.

As far as I know, you'll choose your surname at creation. When searching in-game for a player you know, you can either use his first name (which will bring up a list of everyone with that first name, allowing you to choose the correct person to contact) or their full name.
