View Full Version : The pvp rogue
As i wait for Vanguard to come out i day dream about vanguard and what my character will be like. I am going to play on a pvp server as a rogue. Sigil has released some info on the rog, being able to stalk their prey and build up their accuracy the longer they stalk them, and doing a Truck load of dmg in a short period of time. Who thinks rogs will be able to stalk their pvp target with out them being known? They also mentioned the use of flash powder to possibly distract your target, think it will work against a PC?
Every past game that had PVP stealth has started out with invisible rogues ganking people, moved into everyone complaining about how unfair that is, and ended up with some minor ability or spell that makes rogue stealth virtually useless in PVP.
So the question is, will Sigil follow the same route as everyone else and cave in when the vast majority of players hate rogues sneaking up on them?
(Please note, I have no idea how rogues will work in vanguard, PVP or PVE, just making an observation about past pvp games)

I imagine since stealth is in the same skill pool as perception, perception will be stealthing's negating factor.
