Dragoon dirk, 127 strength, 128 dex, and my max backstab is around 65 (skill 135). I just took out my 8th level barbarian warrior with a 2 H sword and was critically hitting for 52(!) points of damage. It was only happening once or twice per fight, but then again that is the only amount of backstabs I generally get as well. Not to mention I am hitting with a sword for 25-26 a shot. Criticals look at this point to be double damage hits. So the reports of a 35th level warrior critically striking for close to 200 are probably true. Good for them, well good for me I should say, as my rogue is OFFICIALLY retiring. Assassins my ass. Poison will NOT make up for all the other deficiencies. Read the high level rogues posts and get out while you can. Thanks so much to all of you at the safehouse. It could have been awesome, but Verant just does not care about the rogue. damn I never realized rogues were dead way back then, Thrax should have told us earlier.
