I'm takin a break and/or quittin. Spent 4 hours looking for a group tonight, same as most nights. Server's over crowded, nobody wants to do anything except camp in 10x10 rooms for 12 hours at a time, all my friends have either left or would drop me in a heartbeat to get into a camp spot, unless I'm giving them items in which case they'll wait till after I click trade to split.
Just don't get the point of a game where you have to group but can't find anybody to group because everything you could hunt is camped 24/7. I tried to solo but the only way I can think of succeeding is to wait until sombody else almost has a monster dead, train them, then finish the kill, and zone. Wow, high fantasy at its best. As a melee class an honest 1 on 1 fight with something worth fighting just can't be done without spending 20 minutes sitting immediately afterward. SITTING DOING NOTHING, watching tv afk, maybe chit chatting with some other bored solo players who are also half asleep. Wishing the game allowed for them to actually play rather than sit there wondering what there is to do in such a crowded virtual world--at least until it crashes.
EQ, $10 a month to spend 90% of your online time afk hoping to get into a group or afk waiting to heal.
