September 2006- PC Gamer
A great write up and some shining press coverage in the mainstream media came in my mailbox today. Vanguard received a cover mention (Vanguard: The World's First True WoW Killer?)and a two page spread in the September issue of PC Gamer.
While none of the information reported is new to us fanbois, there were a couple of screenshots of flying beetles that looked pretty freakin' impressive. Gabe Graziani (of PC Gamer) did a great job summing up the tidbits we've been feeding off of for the last three years. He also entices the uninformed masses by opening with "Growing weary of WoW? You'll find this MMO absolutely eye-opening." The article doesn't go into a Wow-bashfest however, in fact they mention Sigil's research and *cough cough* work in mandatory WoW play.
Anyhoo. Great job Sigil and grats on the "big stage" press. :smile
