Timmah mutters into a /t: "VI is on to me, Kezzek...I need an exit."
Kezzek /reply's: "The corner of Wabash and Lake, Timmah. If you hurry, you can make it before Aradune and his Agents make it."
"But Kez...that's all the way in Gfay. I just lifted Trumpy's head off his shoulders in S. Qeynos. How am I supposed to beat the Agents?"
"You are The One, Timmah."
"Kez...last time I heard that, it was from my old manager at Taco Bell asking me to work a double shift."
"Go, and remember, there's a difference between knowing the path, and walking the path."
And so Timmah runs...starts his trip from Qeynos towards Freeport, where he can catch a boat to Gfay, because no money-grubbing, mana-hoarding drOOds want to gate him across the world. Upon his trip, he comes to Kithicor Forest, where after the sun drifts below the horizon, the rotting corpses of the undead come out to "play." But sometimes, even worse show up, such as...
Timmah yells: "ARADUNE!"
Aradune says: "You will not evade me, Timmah!"
"But, but, but how did you find me? And why are you braving Kith at night? Even for lowly ole me..."
"You requested a server split from Mithaniel Marr to Drinal, correct?"
"Yes, but I was never moved."
"Well, in our 'wisdom,' it's been decided to allow more people to move over...but there is one hitch, someone there has beaten you to the moniker 'Timmah.' So, I have come to offer you a choice. We want Kezzek. His little organization has been undermining us for too long. Bring him to us, and you can have your precious little name."
"NEVER!!"
Aradune shouts: "TIMMAH!"
Timmah shouts: "Aww @^$#!"
And the DT shortly follows...
And the phone rings, waking Timmah from a deep, nightmare filled sleep. Timmah answers: "Hello?"
Kezzek /reply's: "I'm sorry, they got to you first. But there is still a chance, if you are willing."
"Of course, what do I have to do?"
"Someone will meet you at the stone bridge from North Karana leading to SK. He will offer you two pills. Swallow the blue one and return to your dreary existance, running around, not seeing any of your friends. Or swallow the red one, and see how far down the rabbit hole the ferret will chase you...WE will switch you, give you a new identity so that you too can help us face VI, and prove you are The One. Go there and choose, but choose correctly...for there is no turning back."
"I gotta ask Kez, will it be a hotty named Trinity waiting for me?"
"No...it will be a pantless gnome, you shall know him."
Upon arrival, Timmah climbed the stairs to wait and watch for this mysterious gnome. Sitting there, waiting, munching on some homemade Batwing Crunchies, the shopkeeper there mysteriously vanishes and is quickly respawned with a pantless gnome.
"Hiya, I'm Glip...you the new recruit?"
"Um...yes sir, may I ask why you have no pants?"
"It's a long story kid...ack, did you know you've been NERFED?"
"Nerfed?"
"Yeah, they branded you with a big X above your head...it's ATTACHED to your name, them bastidges."
"How do I get rid of it?"
"Pop the red pill...we'll set you up with a new name, on a new server. Just remember to bring all your stuff. You have to help us fend off Aradune in this unknown region."
And so, Timmah pops the red pill and is pulled across the nether regions of Link Death to reemirge on Drinal. He accepts his fate and rebrands himself Nynjah (no not Neo, you dolt :P) so he can take his fight back towards the evil Aradune and his lackeys at Verant.
