Well, it's time for me to say goodbye to EverQuest. I will leave the game with a smile on my face and put it behind me. I started playing EverQuest because it (seemed to) offer things that I wanted to be around, and to escape from society every now and then. During beta, and even into the start of release, I had found what I was looking for. But now, the society that I was striving to escape from has made a home in EverQuest, and I can no longer continue in it. I do not wish to log on and see people bitching about who gets to kill Trakanon or who gets what loot. It's no fun, and that's not why I started playing the game =)
Playing a rogue in EverQuest was an outlet for me, and believe it or not, I learned a lot. I spent two years in EverQuest, and it left an impression on me. It's not something that I will forget. Consider this not to be the death (or removal) of a rogue, but the seclusion of one until an opportunity presents itself to bring me out of hiding and show myself once again. I hope to find all of you in future games, where we will have had a chance to learn from our mistakes ... (www.anarahy-online.com) ...
