I recently installed Firefox, and was going to install some of the Adobe plugins for it.

However, I can't get the adobe site to load at all for the last 2 days.

Is anyone else having a problem getting to it?

Mine came up but it took me 15 seconds for it to load..

Try flushing your cache and history. What about using IE?

Doesn't load in IE or firefox, clearing the cache doesn't help.

Heck, I guess I should have put this in the workshop

Requisite hatred of Adobe Post:

Adobe's PDF reader is one of the most godawful pieces of bloatware ever written. There is no reason that loading a PDF should slow down your computer or take any time at all and yet... *sigh*

Anyway, for those of you seeking a better way, Foxit Reader (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/) is what a PDF reader is supposed to act like.

Unfortunately, firefox uses your OS's default PDF reader, so you might need a PDF plugin (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/636/) to choose something else.

Note: If you use Foxit and the PDF plugin, the first time you open a PDF, foxit will ask you to download a java thingy for it. Foxit will download it automatically and then it'll work like a dream.

Anyway, death to acrobat reader and all that jazz. We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.
