Just so we can get an idea of what everyone is playing and/or GM'ing.
Personally, I am reading up on the 3rd Ed rules for D&D at the moment. I don't have a gaming group, but still like to put together scenarios, NPC's and other bits and pieces. Once I get some stuff sorted out here, I will post some of them for others to use if they want.
Apart from that, I have played ShadowRun and Vampire the Masquerade many years ago.

Current playing D&D second edition (kind of a mix between 1st and 2nd actually).
But I've played just about everything at one point or another...
Rolemaster, Shadowrun, Vampire etc...

Only one I've played has been DnD (2nd and some of 3rd) - I've never been very good with the rules and skills and such, but I rp'd like a mutha :p ----

Not currently playing anything, my accustomed group has been almost entirely dismembered my marriages, births and relocations. Back when we were playing though...
AD&D 2nd Edition
Hero System, 4th Edition (Fantasy and Super Heroic)
Vampire the Masquerade
Dabbled in Rolemaster
Dabbled in Shadowrun
We play gurps, usually incorporating the psi and martial arts books. I'm DMing a demon/angel/ancient gods/alternate universe campaign where the characters are demons. It's been going on for like 3 months, it's a kick ass campaign. Edited by: injijo at: 2/16/02 7:19:36 pm

I used to play a game with my brothers called Werewolf: The Apocalypse. The charater I told my story about (played) was a gatherer of intelligence and somewhat assassin like.

Haha, I played Werewolf some.
our DM had it out for us though
He ruled that while in Werewolf form we couldn't carry machine guns because of the finger guard thingies (our fingers wouldn't fit) so we had to cut them off and he gave us a chance to drop our gun everytime we fired after that.
Interesting to say the least...

Shadow run

GURPS
Mechwarrior 2nd and 3rd ed
oh, and omg Sinibar (?sp?) one of the strangest systems I have ever played... character creation took forever, but my character could actually probably live through 1,000,000 points of damage! If you have seen or played it you know what I am talking about. Bizzare.

Haha...Sinnabar is the worst RPG I've ever seen. It makes Palladium look well balanced, thought out and playtested.
I know a lot of folks don't like 3rd edition. The best reason I've heard for that yet is that it no longer feels like 1st or 2nd edition AD&D and that it is a totally new system. While I agree it feels different, I vastly prefer it over 2nd edition.
To each his own, I suppose. A good GM can make anything fun...

Have any of you ever played cyberpunk?
I used to have all the books but lost them when I moved. If you know where I could buy new ones I'd be grateful.

The Shadowrun game I was running last year fell apart. I'm not a talented enough GM to maintain a good SR game; it is NOT easy and I've been in a few really BAD SR games. Hey, you leave Palladium alone!
EZ_Telurinon

Palladium:
GM: Ok, What is your Armor Value?
Player: I'm wearing enchanted Plate, so the threshold is 18.
GM: (rolls Dice and consults NPC sheet) Looks like he hits again. You should have Dodged or Parried.
Player: Argh! How can he keep hitting me?! I have the best armor in the game!
GM: Well, his level, stats and weapon give him a total of +13 to hit, which means he only needs to roll over a 5 to hit you unless you use one of your actions to Dodge or Parry.
Player: But if I Dodge or Parry, I give up my attack!
GM: Sucks to be you, don't it?
Seriously, one of the most fun games I've ever played was using the Palladium system, but lord is it horribly broken in some ways. Telurinon Aelvenborne, 50th Rogue of Black IsleMangore Orcsplitter, 39th Warrior of Black IsleDewin gan'Bran, 24th Wizard of black Isle

D&D 3rd, currently.
d20 system is awesome, and I'm currently trying to write my own setting for it (tedious to say the least, lol) based a bit off RIFTS, Shadowrun, Cyberpunk, SLA Industries and a lot off of the book Snow Crash.

Changeling: The Dreaming > the rest of the World of Darkness. I've played every game in the system (minus Hunter).
D&D (who hasn't?), forever as a Thief/Mage. "Upgraded" that to Thief/Sorceror in E3.
Shadowrun, first and second editions, with preference to the first. I purchased the third edition rules, but didn't like them.
Stormbringer. How can you be a fantasy nut and NOT play in the Young Kingdoms at one time or another?
Paranoia. After all, failure to play Paranoia is treason!
