If he does not give us Thrawn... bad things will happen.

If he does not retcon the prequels... bad things will happen.

Fixed it for you.

Lucas already has another television series in the works. Lucas Animation has been working for months on the computer-animated "Star Wars: The Clone Wars."

Didn't they already do one? Unless it's a retcon, in which case, that's cool.

I've been waiting on a followup to the Christmas Special for a while, so this may be nice.

"The Skywalkers aren't in it, and it's about minor characters," Lucas told the Times.

Wow, how does Lucas always know what the fans want!? Does this mean we'll finally get the backstory on how Uncle Owen became a moisture farmer or what Greebo did before he shot first, then second, then first again? *rolls eyes*

I'm just hoping Lucas relents on having this series set during the movies. All of the most exciting stuff already was shown, and we know how things turned out. It's not like they can build up the drama on if the Rebels are going to win or not.

It's too bad Bioware didn't have more of an impression on him for him to realize that he can still set things in the Star Wars universe and have a very compelling story without it having to take place during the 100 or so years that the movies encompass.

I've been waiting on a followup to the Christmas Special for a while, so this may be nice.

I'm sure Bea Arthur is available to sing another song!

Third.

Thrawn was the last good thing to happen to Star Wars.

I dunno... I liked the Darth Caedus story so far. The writing wasn't the best, but the story itself was good.

Actually, there is some back story on Greedo... There are 3 books of Short stories by multiple authors. One with stories of people in Jabba's palace, one about people in The cantina, and another about the various Bounty Hunters.

I think he is in the one about the Cantina, but he might be in the bounty hunter one.

All 3 are good books, if you are into SW.

It's in the Mos Eisley one. Greedo was a refugee being hunted by other Rodians and got sold out by his bounty hunter friends. And then the bartender ground him up and used him for flavoring in his drinks.

No seriously.

Sorry, but Thrawn isn't really TV material. The plot moves forward too quickly :b .

Since I was only able to get one paragraph into the wiki before my eyes glazed over, I'm assuming that he's evil space Nightcrawler as seen in some of those millions of Star Wars novels that I've heard aren't very good. Plus reading an entire book about some character whose elbow was seen for 3 seconds in the cantina scene just seems silly.

Actually, I believe he was only in 4 books, 3 of which were probably the best out of the Expanded Universe. The fourth wasn't so good, but it took place between Episodes 2 and 3, so Zahn pretty much had to follow Lucas' cue on that one.

The Heir to the Empire trilogy DEFINED the Expanded Universe. Nevermind the rest of its merrits, if it wasn't for those novels, Mara Jade wouldn't even exist.
