I think the original headline for this was:
Nintendo says to consumers: "Give us more more money to make your controller work like it should have when you first bought it."
Remember when they announced the 64DD for the N64? Remember when it bombed in Japan and never came to America?
It just seems like that again. They're releasing and addon that will cost more money, that only newer games will use, in order to try to make their product more appealing.
I can't see it working. 1:1 tracking would be awesome for sword battles on the console, but, frankly, without force feedback, having perfectly tracking sword games won't work anyways, since you'll always over swing through the enemies sword.
Unless the enemy can't block, to which they who cares if the weapon swings dynamically?
Wow. How very asstastic.
But it's great! Now the Wii can have even more mediocre gimmick functionality to go along with their state-of-the-art graphics (http://wii.ign.com/dor/objects/14260822/mega-man-9/videos/mm9multidebu.html)!
Oh Megaman 9. If you cost 5 bucks, I'd get you.
I'm not paying full retail price of a regular Wii title for that. They didn't even make classic looking hi-res sprites, they just took the original ones and reused them

More appealing? The Wii has out sold all the other current gen systems, one of which was out a full year before its release. Appeal is not a problem of theirs.
Ive noticed some problems with my Wii recognizing my actions, but I also know that a large part of it has to do with where Im sitting in my room relative to the sensor bar. But at the same time, if this attachment isnt that expensive and it really does help out, I wont mind buying one or two.
As for Mega Man 9.... another one of those "Jump on the disappearing/reappearing blocks" spots? Man! F THAT! F IT HARD!
Yeah, appealing isn't the right word.
Maybe more capable? I don't know.
I haven't noticed many problems with the Wii's sensor quality myself. I just hate the idea that new games will require it, when it ought to be something the system could do from the get go.
Does anyone know if that Xbox motion sensor stick I've seen batting around the web is fake or not? With they're announce of of MiiCrosofts, I wouldn't be surprised.

There was no mention during e3
Hell... if Megaman 9 is reasonably priced (about the cost of other classic NES titles), I'll buy it. One thing caught my eye, though. I'm almost certain that one or two of the clips shown were in the older games... that they didn't just resemble them.
