This is in the other thread, but again, servers are down, so I have time to make it's own thread.

Buffs up - Virulent Poison, Lethal Poison, Feral Instincts, call out the Blood Raptor pet.

Splinter Shot, Swift Shot x3, Head Shot finisher for the buff. Swift Shot x4 (gogo opporunity), Rapid Fire Shot finisher for the buff. Splinter should be up again, then Swift x2, then Hasted Shot (which has the highest damage number).

That's it. Rinse and repeat. Oh, for burst damage, use Hit and Run, Empowered Shot x2, Dead Eye Shot finisher - until the buff wears off, then back to the normal rotation.

Why Swift Shot over Quick Shot? Are the fights so movement heavy to need the movement speed buff?

Otherwise wouldn't -3 points Bolster, +3 points Improved Quick Shot, use Shadow Fire as the opener be a "better" DPS gain? 20% attack haste, still get the bleed bonus etc? Does Rapid Fire and the Shadow Fire speed buff not stack?

/not a raider

Swift Shot does more damage than Quick Shot when you spec those 5 points into Single Minded Focus (first 5 in MM tree). You could do Improved Quick Shot instead of Bolster, but you already boosted Swift Shot (along with 4 other abilities), so why bother? Get a little survivability for those AEs :)

Shadow Fire takes 2 seconds to cast - and yes, I use it to pull sometimes, but... Rapid Fire Shot lasts longer, and no they don't stack (plus in a raid/group situation you don't want a 2 second cast time ability). You do more damage spamming Swift Shot and counting the autoattack damage, especially with a 50% chance to double shot the autoattack. 3 Swift Shots + autoattack > 1 Shadow Fire (2 second cast, plus 1 second GCD).

Ah, I wasn't think about single minded focus.

As to boosted Swift Shot x3 vs Shadow Fire (+20% initial haste), it looks like a wash to me. Is there a way to parse it/has it ever been parsed? I have heard they will not be allowing mods in the foreseeable future.

Like I said, /not a raider. I doubt that it is drastic enough to sweat, but it will cut down on the number of abilities on the hotbar.

Why do you have a full 5 in serrated blades? It's a talent that no longer works with this build since they took range weapons off of it. Unless like your pet can proc it?

1) It's 3 points
2) Where else do you think those 3 points should go?

It's only 3 points - and you need the stuff above it for the physical boosts (Sin 17). And yeah, unfortunately, Serrated Blades doesn't work on ranged... :| It didn't, then it did, then it got nerfed, then it got removed again :X

But you want Cruel Vengeance and Magnify Pain for sure - so you could put those 3 points anywhere, as long as you get up to CV/MP
