what is the spawn timer on mith marr in hohb?
I heard you only need the frog to spawn him, either he is up or not, need to confirm it.

untargetable Mith Marr is 7 day timer, but that is irrelevant. All that matters is the frog, who is on a 3 day timer. Kill the frog and you get mith marr, regardless of whether the untargetable MM is standing there.

Yes, kill frog, pop MM. I read an untargetable MM spawns 7 days after death but you need to kill the frog to make him targetable.

Can confirm that a guildie of mine needing the MM flag joined another raid, MM was not up, but the frog was. They killed the frog and waited several hours and no MM ever popped. Another ex-guildie also said this happened to them once (hence they never tried it again).

They were when we did it, yeah. Only thing I can guess is someone killed MM when the froggy was dead and he spawned less than three days after MM died or some such weirdness.

Frog did spawn MM without untargettable up for us on our last MM fight. But that was in July, so maybe it has been fixed. So it has been proven to spawn him.

I think in most every case where frog was killed and MM didn't pop, the 7-day untargettable MM was up. We've had to petition to get the 7-day MM destroyed so frog would be able to pop MM. Four times with my guild and other guilds when 7-day MM was up (not targettable) and frog up = dead frogx4 and no spawn of a targettable MM which is stupid.
