A late night, a lady in the arena, and a amarous rogue.

Botie was making the moves, talking too the lady, not knowing an assasin was prowling closer. As he fought her, made light chat with her, he was not aware of the cold breath of death creeping closer closer.

Any good rogue knows not to let the allure of a woman keep you from noticing your surroundings. And as Botie did make light talk with the Wood Elven warrioress, Fiae did prowl. From behind of Botie, as the enchanting lady did compliment him, Fiae decided it was time to attack. Fiae landed a backstab, and then another. The frightened halfling ran around, shouting not quite genteel words.

A fight did ensue, as Botie attempted to manuever around, and so did Fiae. The mournful dance, two rogues, fighting in the dusk. Dagger met dagger, rapier met mace, blood fell on the ground. In the end Botie did fall, the price he paid for letting his guard down, and letting an alluring lady distract his attention. Fiae Soulmender

Wait a second!!

You're supposed to get the warrior. Make him watch his lady die before his eyes.

Much more satisfying.

Ah, I see. Makes a little bit more sense then.

Although it would add another dimension to a duel...trying to kill their character while getting clobbered...would it be more effective to fight the person or the character? Whee!
