framerate in FFXI is extremely slow for me, even with all graphic options turned to their lowest setting - and i have a 1 GHz Processor, 600 MB of RAM, and a 64 MB GeForce3. Any tips or hints? -- Marauder Arafain Entreri, 65 Deceiver

It is locked at 30FPS. Unless you're a hacker or whatever you call those people, you can't improve the framerate. Kerayu, Mithra Thief of Phoenix.

it doesn't run anywhere near 30 FPS for me. More like 3-6 FPS.

That's really odd.

My system is miserable -- 900mhz, 350ish ram and a PCI-based geforce 4 ... and yet ffxi runs perfectly. I had much worse framerates playing shadowbane and daoc.

I have heard this complaint before, though, so it's not just you -- I'd check out the vnboards for possible solutions, I guess.
