To all you Rogues,
I have a story, I'm reluctant to share it in fear of getting caught but... Ahh, what the heck! Its not like that silly Human Warrior or his Barbarian side-kick is ever going to read this post here!
Anyhow, here's the story... I was in Freeport hanging out at this Inn near the Bank. There's multiple rooms and a few merchants downstairs that sell simple traveling goods and food. I had rented the top room and was quitely relaxing from my adventure, the room had a nice view too. I kept hearing the door of the room next to me opening and closing. So, every once in a while I would look out at my door to see a Barbarian entering one minute and a Human exiting the next. I felt that this was a little odd so I snuck into the room when they left and hid under the bed...
Just then the Human runs in and throws a bunch of items on the ground. He jumps into the bed and camps for the night... The Barbarian soon appears and gathers up all the items, takes off and runs to the bank next door. He then returns and camps too.
The Human returns and does the same thing again. This time though after he dropped all the items and camped, I decided to use some of my skills. I hurridly grabbed everything I could and stuffed them into my backpack, heard the Barbarian returning and ducked under the bed. He searched all over, panicked and ran out of the room. While the door was open, I quietly slipped out and ran into my room.
The Barbarian wound up searching every room in the Inn, I hid under the bed when I heard him beating on my door. Just about that time, the door flung open and this Rabbie infected Barbarian, drooling all over the place, starts to scream and runs out again. "Whew!" I thought...
While I was slipping out of the Inn, I heard the Barbarian shout, "I KNOW YOU'RE THERE!!!" The bags I was carrying were pretty heavy but I just had to laugh at him. Just about that time, I heard the God Bristlebane whisper some ideas to me.
So, I snuck back into the Inn and put one of each of his items in the vacant rooms. I left the doors open so it would be noticable. As I was slipping down the stairs I could hear him running back and forth between the rooms. I imagine trying to get his stuff, I went out the door to 2nd Floor balcony, jumped off the railing and made my way outside to the Bank. I can guarantee you, there was a smile on my face. You wouldn't of seen it though with the Executioner's Hood I was wearing and my scarey Ivory Bone Mask covering my face but, it was there.
So, I'm standing in line at the Bank, trying to make my deposit. I hear a familar voice and look over, its that Human Warrior! He's complaining to the Bank lender about something and he then heads back to the Inn. I decide to loose my place in line and follow him. To make it obvious that I'm no thief, I strap on my Chitlin Shield and my Minotaur Axe, then display my finest impression that Trizdae is a Warrior.
I boldly walk into the Inn and order Milk and Bread. The true diet of a Warrior... As I'm eating I see the Barbarian and hear him muttering something, I politely ask him if everything is okay in my best Barbarian speech. I'm Excellent you know? He didn't notice that I spoke his language but responded that some "freak" stole all the things from him and his partner's room. Scattered all the items all over the Inn and some were stolen. I couldn't tell if his face painted red or if he had tattos, but he seemed pretty angry.
I sympothized with him before leaving and displayed to him that I was feeling a little "freaky" myself. Or was that "sneaky?" In any case, as dumb as Barbarians are, he didn't catch on so I made my way back to the Bank, laughing all the way.
"Welcome Trizdae to my Bank!" Said the teller... "What can we do for you today?"
"Oh, I would like to make a deposit..." I responded...
Love and Stuff,
Trizdae
