A quick left axe question

How does left axe work? I want to use 2 axes at once and have heard you dont need to spec at all in it. Is this true?

Left axe affects how much damage you do with left axe styles. I think it also affects how much damage you do with both weapons, because when you weild two weapons, your damage with both is cut in half... if you want to use left axe, you need to spec in it. if you're goign to use a two hander, you don't need to spec in it. If you're using two weapons, you need to spec in Axe AND Left Axe. Yup, both.
