Per-nerf Circlet of Shadows getting nerfed?

Someone was saying something in Overthere today on Tallon Zek that in a recent official Verant message, a future equipment change would include the nerfing of old circlet of shadows. Can anyone confirm or deny this? If it is true, could you give a link to the message released please?

Lol, it sure does sound bad, doesn't it.
He said that just prior to the most recent patch (with melee changes), in one of the message boards a spokesperson from Verant said the old CoS was going to be nerfed in the next patch. I guess I'll know for sure on Tuesday. He was a bit more convincing than your average troll (he didn't simultaneously claim to bathe on a regular basis or anything). I was mainly asking to see if I got an overwhelming confirmation, rather than having to go through the trouble of trolling all the possible message boards. Guess I should keep trying to trade for one..
I'm not Completely clueless.
