4 four are quest fixes, 5th warns of halloween events. *I'd guess werewolfs in Karanas, skellys in Qeynos Hills, and suck.

Would be intersting if they had a high level one of these. Say summon everyone in ToV/ST/VP to WW, and have a GM controlled Dragon or Giant attack. Then again, all the high level guilds would be pissed at having their monotinious lives disrupted.

lol Gyorg! Oh, and is it common for one to be LFG in ToV? I wouldn't know, as I've never been. But it did strike me as funny to see someone listed as LFG in there.

Yes, very common. Not pickup groups, but sometimes people leave a raid or newcomers arrive and they throw their flag on so their guild knows they need a group.. Bedrenken Pigsticker

On our way to DN last night, there was a huge robot dragon in WW, only 2 of our 7 party members could see it, it was some sort of gnomish invintion no doubt, and I think I remember seeing some /ooc's about it being GM controlled..

It didnt respond to hails or anything though.. Was named CT Xlick or something strange and illegible.. and kept doing zone shouts about new target acquired <player name> something something...

Last weekend there was GM control'd events in TOV and western was .. including the cloakwork dragon .. I guess some servers are getting through the events slower than others.

I am a recruit for the guild and they had kinda forgotten to guild me so I could ask for a group so I had LFG on so that I could get grouped.

Halloween events sprawled over several zones. Many had their names changed. North Ro, Oasis, East Karana, West Commons, Rathe Mts, East Freeport, Qeynos, & Everfrost had some type of change in them releating to halloween. Most of the MoBs we're changed & dropping extreamly nice loot at random for mid-level melee & casters. Rarely dropping REALLY good items (Lodizal shield, Fungi Tunic)

Most of the events sucked due to KSers, MoBs with un-usually powerful spells, (tainted eye in east karana used knockback spell that shot me across the zone litterly & I 10ked. Nice for a green.) & overcrowding. Peeps we're KSing left & right trying to get the "uber" drops. It was like every MoB was lodizal.

On a side note, I /petitioned & feedbacked that I didn't like the series of halloween events & they could try harder. 2 guides answered & basically b!tched me out. Probably the rudest guides I ever met. -=Aldelbert Stiener=- -=60th Backscratcher=- |Based in Xegony|

I petitioned a general kind of "RP prayer" and mentioned to the guide that I wasn't keen on taking part in the "(bottom) feeding frenzy" in Rathe Mtns and got a 'well, that's too bad' kind of answer. The whole zone was a mass of killing anything that moved, whining to loot the nodrops, and the Black Reaver just massacring the zone when it popped (500 AE, long range). Even the quests last night were interrupted or ended early due to these morons.

230 people in EK, not counting those that were LD.. Guild looked around to kill the lvl 60 Lady at Beholder entrance but the lag was so horrible we decided not to.

Went to WC this morning when less people were on and the WW Boss dropt a 20 AC 10 sv all Monk Tunic. my lvl 26 Bard got wasted by 4 green WW proccing Lifetaps left and right.. forgot to trigger fearsong in time ;o(

On Morell Thure I was in RM till 2am est, we had a BALL.

Yes a lot of folks died, yes the clerics were busy rezzing non-stop.

But the loot was decent, comeradery was HIGH, the place was a zoo, but you know what?!

IT WAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO DO than sit in Velks or KC waiting for the next pop! Dont bitch out the GM's if you dont like it, just leave.

It was only 4+ zones effected. You didn't HAVE to be in EK/RM/WC/EF/QH. There were 180 peeps in RM at one time. About 30 of us held the top of a mountain for about 2 hours till we got wiped. BUT WE HAD FUN! It was two hours of people yelling for help, and everyone assisting each other, everyone helping the others stay alive.

I liked this a LOT more than 2 GM controlled NPC's with 50 people ganking them for the 2 drops type event we usually see.. Patofnaud

anyone get any good Rogue stuff from the events? I got a rogue only necklace from Rathe Mountains AC3 str+3 dex+4 or something to that effect, and rogue only gloves from EK with similar stats. Nothing extremely good, but I will keep them for the sake of having something to remember the events by. Wonder if anything really good for a rogue dropped anywhere....

It was a horrible night .. WC sucked so hard .. there was insane kill stealing going on esp by casters .. but I dont blame them .. in WC you couldnt tell if a person was attacking a mob till you were 2 feet away from it then they show'd up.

Rathe Mountains was ok .. no KS because the mobs were higher levels and harm touch'd etc alot were con blue to my 46 Druid.

It was nice that alot of the loot was no drop because loc after loc was givin out for free loot BUT OMFG did they have to make the loot off blood reaver NO DROP, me and a few guildies decided to take out blood reave .. prob about 12 of us. First try on a level 47-48 mob we horribly underestemated it ... AE fear AE for 500DD AE DOT .. and AE dispell with one of the AE's. Although we killed it and got some nice loot it was no drop and of corse with 200 in the zone .. 30 newbies gather'd around mashing their loot button hoping to ninja, so basically our kill group HAD TO loot and most of it was dead.

Also piture 100 level 30-50 standing by watching ... then piture .. the AE reaching from the WC Druid Spire to the WC Wiz spire .. no joke ... that equals 100 dead newbies .. our poor Epic clearic... this happen'd alot more than once as we killed it 5 times I think.

I thought it was a Nightmare .. because I was pulling on my druid .. newbies would run up to see the dragon and it would stop at them .. AE and because of the range it would hit me as wel and id lose sow but .. sometimes it was so far away Id have time to resow .

Anyway all the hate/jealousy tell's etc I recieved .. have made me quit EQ for a week or till I feel like playing again.
