When do we get our first one and the others?

Casters Realms says at 30 i should have a resistance one but i dont see it trainable or given to me as a hotkey.

Any info would be great.

Disc's are not trained not hotkeyed unless you made a hotkey for them.

Castersrealm info on discs is accurate.

Type /disc in game sometime.

type /disc

this will list all the Disciplines available to a Rogue, although level restricted. Make Hot keys for each something like ........

/disc nimble ( or which ever you want )

At lvl 30, the only disc you have is resistant, which gives you + to all resists for a short time. By the time you get to lvl 50, it'll be +10 to all resists and have a reduced re-use time.

At lvl 40, you get /disc fearless which is a 10-11 sec immunity to fear.

Once you get to lvl 53, you'll start receiving the "real" discs. Here's Caster's Realm's List of Disciplines and here's the Safehouse's list (See 2.16)

The above posts may be describing the "old method" - I'm a new rogue, so that was before my time...

How it works now:

When you are eligible for a discipline, you go to a vendor and buy a tome containing that discipline. Take this tome and hand it to any rogue trainer (one tome at a time!) and you will learn the new discipline, which will show up in your Combat Abilities window (click on the little 'S' and you can make combat or regular hotkeys from them.

Tomes can be bought from a gnome vendor in the PoK library or from a vendor in the ec tunnel (or probably other places I haven't yet discovered).

The majority of the tomes cost 2cp, and are the same ones listed above: Resistant at level 30, Fearless at 40, and so on.

There is also a (new?) rogue discipline available at level 10. It is called Focused Will and increases your hp regen rate. This tome, however, will cost you 300-350pp, depending on your charisma. (It was 320pp at 99 cha, and I bought it for 315pp at 139 charisma.)
