Hi guys!
Some facts about me: 65 Rogue, about 4300 Hp unbuffed, atk at 1300. My guild is elemental capable and we still do a lot of VT. My weaponry setup is: Wicked Shank and Ragebringer. Sadly I missed out all the GRMK that dropped and we have not killed FR yet so no Ifir. I am looking to bag the rage, but need some suggestions on what to get for my offhand. In preparations for my move, I got gorget of superiority with its haste so I have another haste item. Please post your suggestions.

keep rage, get a stone etched mallet from the mud earth a ring and destroy that pos shank. then...wait on a reinforced mephit talon or ifir.

What up, Lile, it's Manxx. I think Tass is dead on there. But what can I say? I still wield Rage + DLB But yeah... stone etched mallet is one that I've had my eye on for a bit now. the trick now is getting elem flagged so's I can get one. Ooohh.. so shiney!

theres a pretty swanky offhand off cursed but I generally dont go out of my way to aquire and offhand so much as i retire my mainhand.
Personally i say you bust out the LDON for the 16/19 and do 16/19 main and offhand the 16/21. Thats what I do and im quite happy with it. Better that then wasting points on an offhand that your prolly going to bag when you get ifir or whatnot.

yeah, the mallet is huge and ugly....but the only weapons with a superior ratio drop in time or elem gods. SEM will hold you off on offhand for a long time. its also an easy ring...maybe 20-25 people and 30min?

I can't really imagine mainhanding ragebringer over the wicked shank if you have any interest in your DPS. Sure escape is nice and all but unless you are the guild's only rogue I'd say let them worry about escape and you mainhand the shank.

the small dps gain from shank over rage is minimal compared to being able to escape when you need to. this attitude of "let the other rogue escape" is pretty weak...

Higher damage, lower delay, and a backstab mod is going to be minimal DPS increase? /shrug
As far as the "let the other rogues escape"... it was not meant to imply shirking some sort of responsibility. I simply meant that unless you are your guild's only rogue then personally I'd value DPS over an extra corpse dragger. Not to mention that using the shank doesn't automatically mean you'll blow escape anyway.
I don't even have a shank and yet when it's clear we are going to wipe if I see one or two of the others "got out" then, depending on the situation, I will sometimes just fight it out to the end. That way my escape is still fresh if we wipe again and maybe I can help take out one more add before I go down. One less mob we have to worry about when we recover. sure...you could use the shank situationally, but whenever it counts i wouldnt have it equipped.
oh, and yes, the difference between epic and shank in mainhand with sem in offhand is minimal. im not saying that epic will put out more dps in any situation. im saying that the difference is minimal. personally, i would never give up the ability to survive an encounter for such a small dps gain.

MDoD mainhand...and i think there is a 15/20 ldon club also....not bad...it's not time or elem, but it's nice....hmmm..wonder if you can add the +2 damage aug to that club..would make it 17/20
edit...just checked...the +2 damage aug will fit in the 15/20 club, which is called Club of the Mad Researcher (i think).
Squidbox doesn't list the +2 damage aug as lore, either...is this correct that you can have more than one? Skewerz Joo
