View Full Version : Locked door in Sebilis / firepots / Juggernauts

Our guild has been trying to help a few of our members complete the Crown of Deceit quest. As such, we've been taking a few trips down to the Reet / Juggs area in Sebilis. As you may or may not be aware, there is a locked / one-way door beyond the "bridge" just past the myconids.

Question:
Is it by design that this door only opens going towards Trakanon? It is possible to pick the fireport on the egress side (coming OUT from Trakanon) but the door does not open. The firepot spins, just like the ingress side, but nothing happens. However, if you wait long enough for a Jugg roamer, he'll open the door for you regardless, as apparently all wandering mobs in Norrath have the "master key" on their keyring

In any case, before I start my daily /bug'ing of this behavior, does anyone know if this is by design?

thanks
agra

Was doing the same thing to me a few months ago. I just camped out my 2nd-box cleric to let us out.

Never really did that camp before that.

Which was really handy when the non-boxed cleric died Your Sister in Arms,

I consider that a bug too, probably because I dont like getting picklock success messages and nothing happening.

You can open the door with a eye of zomm/tallon, eyes like every roamers get the master key. Of course I do not really like to rely on a mage or wizard to open a door, seems they are afk 60 pct of the time.

that is true, you reminded me that our magician opened it the first time, before we figured out the firepots (with eye of zomm). I guess I'll just whip up some Hunting Probes and we'll be gtg for now.
