All the old world poison info is stored there.
In the post above, Corinari has done an excellent job of providing info on the PoP based poisons and quests.

It just shows how much 'twinking' has been accepted when Corinari's advice on how to start making poison *cheaply* at level 20 includes an offhand remark about taking 1000pp with you for the first part and not expecting any return
I get the impression from what I have read that it is not worth thinking about starting to use poison until you are at least level 40 and/or are extremely rich.

Don't know about twinking, but when "newbs" are selling zombie skins in the Bazaar for 10p a pop (and people are paying it), it's not that hard to get 1000p these days.

10 plat per zombie skin? I play mostly on Stromm, now, with the most out of whack and expensive economy out there, and I don't think I 've seen zombie skins *that* high.
They aren't even used for anything any more, since poison vials themselves now sell for a little more than a gold piece each. There's got to be bette ways to skill up pottery than spending 10 plat per zombie skin per skill up chance.
Are there any other uses for zombie skins (other than a few newbie armor quests)?

zombie skins = pottery skill ups i think
anyways....back to the poison thing - ok yes i am a newb - how do i apply it?
I just dinged 20 and trained it - heading over to the above site now to see if it tells me how to actually use poison =) Edited by: KharisSilvereyes at: 1/9/04 2:34 pm

Right click a poison in any open inventory slot (Not inside a container) and it'll apply it. It sits you down to apply it, and you can't take the poison off your cursor or perform any other actions or you will fail the apply. Kodey - 51 Rogue

I'm 65th level.. have 70K in plat and have some 180ish banked skill points..
I have a friend that is a master potter.. can I use him to assist me?.. or do I need to be a potter?
I promist I'll read through the guide here in a sec.. though I wonder what I can do to maximize my current assets.. ie master potter friend, 180ish banked skill points, and 70K in plat...?
I have 6 banked AAs as well.. should I get the 'no fail apply poison' AA before begining on my poison skill "quest"?

OK read the guides.. still a bit confused on best practice.. do I even need skill in apply poison at all? I think I put a point into when it became available, back during my leveling days.. /shrug.. Think it popped my Apply Poison to 20 something right off the bat. if I remember correctly.
Should I (do I need to) go ahead an purchase the 'never fail at poison apply' AA regardless?
Also.. I never see mention of the Spirit of Sloth (I assume it's a slow?) poison in the "old world poisons" nor the new Teir 1 and Teir 2 poison lists?.. nor the Spine Break people mention here on the boards.. thought there are very similar named poisons listed.
From the old world poison list.. It would seem in PvP the blind poison would be quite usefull. Though I'm not sure the the Level 1 off to the side means it's a level 1 spell.. and thus resisted 99.99% of the time.. or what not? (I'm on a blue server so really the PvP aspect of poisons would be for once in a great while fun)
I was told there is a poison that "blocks" the rampage ability?.. If usable on raid mobs.. that would be quite a boon to the raid. Edited by: Delghinn00 at: 1/9/04 6:16 pm
