In Nurga last night 2 things happened that I haven't seen before:

First a caster mob started using another mob as a living shield. I ended up assassinating both of them at the same time and each of them took 16000 dmg. Is this how living shield works?

Second, we had an added mob mid way through a fight. I used Nimble evasion, only the added mob continued to hit me for damage. What exactly am I evading and what will continue to hit me when I use this discipline?

First question, yes that is how living shield works. The shielding mob takes 1/2 the damage from the mob being shielded.

Second question, not sure on this one. I had a similar experience in an adventure a couple days ago where I tried to use /Nimble to make it to the zone-out. Pop the disc and took off running but noticed that I was still getting tenderized. There were 2-3 different types of mobs in the train and all were successful in smashing thru my disc.

Is /nimble frontal attacks only? I honestly don't remember it being that way. -Gharrm Touch-

all combat avoidance skills like dodge, riposte, parry, block, etc. are frontal only. nimble makes you dodge all attacks. therefore, it is frontal only. the exception to this is monks now have the ability to dodge from any angle.

frontal only.

I used Nimble while being trained by a wild Paladin puller, and happened to die within miliseconds of pressing my Numble button. Once I appeared at my bind, every mouse click triggered the already depressed Nimble button. I had to log out to clear it - could not even accpet my battle rez.

Just thought I would post that little oddity here
