Hail all,

A nice high lvl rogue gave me a nice weapon. It's a bloodstained werewolf claw (I think I got the name right). Anyway, the recommended level is pretty high and I'm only lvl 10, so my backstabs are only 10 or 11. The dps seems nice though as I'm hitting for 22 most times. I'm thinking it'll be good to stay with it for now, but I'm just curious as to how long it will be worth it. I have a sharpened piece of flotsam for my offhand (can't wait to use both ).

Any advice would be very appreciated! D">

those weapons sound good for now man. if i were you though, i'd concentrate on just getting exp. just get as many levels as fast as you can. dont worry about gear until a bit later.

/sarcasm on

Level fast. Get PL if possible. Work your rogue skills up but don't learn about them.
That way when your 63 and get SoS you'll have to ask someone what that little message was under the con for the mob that just kicked your butt meant and why he didn't attack til you passed him.

/sarcasm off

Level at your own speed. Learn the class and the skills well. The people you group with and raid with later on will be able to tell the difference.

To quote my inspect message::

Gear and AA can only take you so far. Friends, Guildmates and knowing your class can take you even farther.

the recommended level on the weapons are broken. the weapon remains the original damage even though it shows it a lower value in red. Derrict Thealcoholic - Nameless Server

Backstab is however based off of the level adjusted damage

Thanks for the input guys,

They are good items, and I'm lucky to have them. It's really hard for me to believe how cheap some of these things are selling for in the bazaar. The bloodied werewolf claw is selling for around 100 to 200pp. That for a 10 dmg, 22 dly weapon is unreal when I think about EQ a year or so ago.

Rabid Chokidai Fang and Fungusbeast Spine are both items with no rec levels, high DMG, and about a 1/2 DMG/Delay ratio. Both are relatively cheap too. Maybe not the best options, but big flashy backstabs are fun to see. =) -------------------------

Sebilite Croaking Dirk has no recommended level and is 10/18.

Yeah.. and seb croakers are still stupid expensive for their utility they don't really provide in the hands of anyone over 40 unfortunately.

Least on TM they are, could buy a TT and an FBSS for less than what most people sell SBC's there for. -_-
