Ive wanted a flayed barbarian hide mask for as long as they have been around, and recently I had started making enough cash to actually consider purchasing one. I looked around at a few of the prices, and seeing 150k and 200k I lost interest in it again.
So, I just assumed I would never see one and moved on...
A little while later, I bought a really nice mask from LDoN, the Mask of Eternal Sands from Tak. I auged it out, so now it is 10 ac, Vengeance II, See Invis, 6 str, 6 sta, 8 dex, 5 wis, 5 int, 55 hp, 8 sv cold, 8 sv poison.
Tonight, about a week after buying this LDoN mask, I zone into the baz and see someone auctioning a flayed barbarian mask... for 80k. I thought about it, and decided to buy it. 80k is a pretty good deal nonetheless. Im pretty positive I could get 120+ for it no problem.
So here I am now... 2 awesome masks, and I dont know which one to use. On the one hand, the barbarian mask is definitely awesome. 35 ac, 100 hp and 7 sv all kicks ass, no doubt about it. On the other hand, I do get more attack with the Tak mask, plus the nice see invis that I wanted for so long. Most importantly though, is that I spent about 1600 LDoN points to make that mask and the thought of not using it now makes me sick =(. The actual stats (str, dex, sta)arent too important to me because with buffs I am always at cap anyway.
So basically, what would you do? Would you sell the mask for a nice profit and upgrade other things and use the Tak mask, or bank the Tak mask and use the barbarian mask? Your input is appreciated =)
