Double Riposte AA alters riposte success rate?

Can someone confirm that in contrast to the AA description text, that double riposte increases chance of a successful riposte and not merely an increased chance of "rolling a double riposte" on a successful riposte?

It is clear this isn't the most useful AA, is it worth it at all or just skip it?

I just want to know if it's true that people avoid this one because it can blow escape if it kicks in just as you escape.

No. Your riposte % will remain the same after purchasing double riposte. It just allows you to fire a double riposte after the initial riposte check passes. Derrict Thealcoholic

The reason I avoid it is that a double riposte will move us up the hate list when we are trying to get down.

When you're max AA, may as well get it. It was one of the last AAs I purchased before I completely maxed them out.

Quite a high percentage of ripostes will be doubles, btw. I farm greens a lot (freaking tradeskills)... I'll generally train myself, have a bunch of mobs hitting from behind, and see doubles of the 'you cannot hit your target from here 'type message more often than singles of the message, when ripostes from behind occur (or actually don't occur, whatever terminology you prefer). Ya but if you look at how often you ripostie when you farm greens its rare. But i guess thats why its one of the last =)
