Mages and Necro's please

Heyaz, ..now im thinkin bout makeing a mage cuz my bro is makeing a necro...thought mage could be good duoing class...has anyone done this duo b4?....any necro's out there know whats best class to duo with?.....can mage pet or necro pet tank in PoP?....more interested in the 56+ end.

If you want to know a Good Partner for a Necro.. Go w/ a Shaman.

Shamans and Necros work well together.

Both have DoT's, Pets, and Shaman can slow mobs so your pet won't bite the dust in PoP Ainr Exik

I have a Necro and I duo with a friend (a mage) in PoP all the time. We have no problems aggro kiting things, and his pet can tank enough for areas we can't kite. Team works remarkably well

You could consider Necro / Beastlord. There's a very strong synergy between these two classes.

i have a 59 mage friend i duo with quite often, im a 61 necro, basicly anything a single group can kill we can, even summoning (may cost me a few hundred pp to kill but weve done it) anythong non PoP weve duoed sucessfully either aggro kiting, pet tanking, or chain pet tanking (this is expensive =/) belive me a mage is a necros best friend, but shammies are to, heals and regen are teh winz! + slow a shammy and a necro are gonna be unstoppable, either way they both own all
