Not to soundy bitchy or anything, but.... Enchanters have a complaint type letter?

The true power of not testing your patches. (see sig)
*P.S. Yes, "plentiful" is spelled wrong :(, it's a sig I made years ago, somewhat special to me, so I didn't fix it*

Yes, she does. Although I'm not sure what the benefit of spamming it on every class board is, since there's already two enchanter forums.

Its always nice to see that even the most powerful classes can still come up with entire letters full of demands.

other than haste, mez, slow, charm, and C i have very little knowledge of enchanters, asking me for feedback is to say the least not very productive

I'm sorry, but I just can't feel too sorry about the enchanter class and their alleged grievances. They were, until recently, the most overpowered class in the history of EQ, and are still essential to most experience groups (all, actually, if you consider everyone's need for Clarity). Whether or not they're still overpowered is a matter of opinion, but you could certainly make a strong argument for the idea.

Even enchanters known server-wide for incompetence usually won't wait more than 2 minutes for a group, and are able to solo or make a small fortune buffing when they can't. If any class is just fine as is, it would be enchanters.

Try sitting for 2-3 hours /lfg like a dps class or tank and maybe your class needs some help.

Seems the over 1000 damage per second from their pet isnt enough =(

Command of Druzzil casted and for 10 minutes you have 4 rogues backstabbing until they are blue in the face under your control. Character Profile

10 minutes?

I wish. Not even with all charm AAs anymore. This was nerfed quite a while ago. Otherwise my retired chanter would have max AA by now...

No. Situationally powerful. Overall not the 'most overpowered'. Still very powerful, although that power invariably comes with a degree of risk, and in general requires support of a group, which is an innate balancing.

and are still essential to most experience groups

No. Never were, either. Only people who were trapped into the 'mez mentality' believed they were. Clarity is purchasable.

"No. Never were, either. Only people who were trapped into the 'mez mentality' believed they were. Clarity is purchasable."

From a melee standpoint, their haste and +atk illusions are pretty nice as well. Not necessarily essential, but it does make a huge difference in XP groups sometimes.

You must have some boring groups or obsessive lullers...

Every expansion there's a new overpowered class... I remember the talk was always druids and necros, then shamans and SKs, then monks, then enchanters, and now bards... The burden of fault is of course on the devs, and those responsible are doing the best they can - just doesn't seem to ever be in the right directions... That's just an opinion... That aside, posting your wish list on every class board you can find I think is in bad taste... All I will say is at least this wasn't a petition to give bards rez songs and evacs...

Eh, enchanters to the best of my knowledge have always been desirable since around 4 months past release. I'll say this, my enchanter mule that I use for trade skills is the only character I can un-anon on and get group requests within 2 minutes even when sitting AFK in frigging Katta. Heck, on more than one occasion I've turned down a group only to have them ask "So when will you get here?". I've had clerics before and even they didn't get as many tells as that chanter gets, and believe me when I say I am not the best person at playing a chanter. So it's not my l337 skills that're attracting these tells, they just really really like their enchanters.
