What is an "Iggle"?

"Iggles" where the first evil guild brave enough to set foot on Faydwer in the first weeks of Vallon Zek.

Before they came to the island of Gnomes and Elves, Greater Fay was on fire and the smell of corpses laid everywhere cuz the gnomes and the dwarves where enslaving the poor poor elves...hehe elves where getting "pwnd"

Then the Iggles came and set Butcher Block on fire. Killing Dwarves and Gnomes everywhere and then hiding in the hills only to strike on the smaller search parties that combed BB after them. The pecks where distracted for that one day from their normal elf killing routine. But soon Butcher Block became flooded with elves from Gfay. Pecks thought "Oh great nice timing for an Elven uprising". But to the shorties surprise the Elves took up arms with the pecks lending them their trackers to search out the Trolls n Ogres that had invaded and ran them from Faydwer. That day the Great War of Faydwer actually ended. And an army from Faydwer jumped on the boats in BB and raided Nektulous forest. Hours of slaughter (Best raid Id ever been in) ensued but the Dragoon guards eventually secured the forest for the evils that lived there. (Highest levels being all of 25 out of 150+ Faydwerians the guards ran us out)

The Iggles where a major player in the history and the alliances that formed on Vz. (The beginnings of GvE play on Vz) *sighs* ahh them where the days.

Later on the Iggles became famous for the "Iggles Treatment"
I wont go into its meaning but if you really want to know go tick off an Iggle and find out. I guarantee you'll regret it.

Oh and actually the Iggles were pure team advocates for play in general.

They listed the Shanks as the "Iggles of the North" because we are pure team (though pure human team) in their run down of Vallon Zek guilds.

The new guild will of course be pure team but it will even be limited in terms of races ogres, trolls, dark elves, specific slave races, for more see their website.

Fricka gotta put that quote into context. Iggles have always been pure team but it was their raiding parties that actually stopped the war on Faydwer between the Elves n Pecks to unite against a new common enemy....Darks

Also when the elves that fled Faydwer in the early days heard that they were allowed by pecks, yes allowed, to hunt in Unrest and Mistmoore they returned from Antonica and their new human friends came as well. Thats when the GvE or lighty guilds started poppin up.

SOunds interesting. Only question I really have is how does one contact a memebr of the Iggles? Is ther ea web page to be looked at? WHo is on the test server now that can be contacted for more info?

Just curious cause out of all the sites I have been to, this guild strikes me the most for being fun to play in/with.

The Iggles were a name to be feared, no doubt there. They existed with item loot mind you, and if you saw a bunch of their names in the zone if was a good idea to leave the area if you wanted to stay alive and keep your stuff. As a Shank, I loved seeing the Iggle tag flying above my enemy. They were honorable, if not ruthless, and always a blast to be around and fight. They usually stayed in character as well (lot's of "Me barsh gud" stuff heh).

They're being reborn on SZ. Initially their ranks will be filled with old Iggles and other people they respected on Vallon (some Shanks, Combine, assorted dark guilds and other randoms).

I, for one, am looking forward to barshing with 'em.

They're a dark guild, but primarily will be filled with trolls, ogres, dark elves, gnomes and leezards. No elves allowed, only female erudites and humans (slaves). Gotta love it.
