I'm a bluebie. I'll admit it...but only when it comes to PvP (I think?).
Anyways, I've been debating what class I would like to play on SZ. It is between enchanter or shaman (evil of course - not because of the vast numbers of them, I just like being the "nice" bad guy...err something). Right now, I have a race/class combo that would probably earn me some brownie points in the weak category...a dark elf warrior. I still like being one though, and I'm not THAT weak
My question is, after reading numerous posts about advantages/disadvantages of certain class/race/duoing combos, which would prove to be more enjoyable in the long run? I know it's a personal preference type of thing, but I'd still like to hear more feedback about the two classes...being you can create only one character on SZ, I don't want to be an enchanter only to learn everyone is buffed with 150+ MR or something like that, rendering my magic useless. On the contrary, players having high immunities to poison/disease seems to discourage being a shaman. As for race...I was leaning towards gnome enchanter (they're just cool) and probably troll shaman (sorry ogres, you're too big and fat for me). I'm not quite sure which to choose because I've read shamans go hand in hand when having a melee partner while enchanters might be suitable for a caster partner (I'll be playing with a friend most definitely and having a rogue around, I would like to balance out such a duo), but I'm not exactly the PvP expert. I've always wanted to cast SoW (and feel special) while being able to buff/debuff well and hold my own without having to be a druid, yet the thought of crowd control and messing with people's minds appeals to me.
