View Full Version : The evils of Sullon
*picks herself up off of the floor*
Wow, they were so close to taking the lead after a week or two of all those level 50s killing level 20s non stop.
How nice it must be now for them to lose what? 70 points per kill they made? the 50 for the actuall kill, then the 20 or so that they had gained initially also. haha
I guess they had been farming the low level people even more than I had thought. Very nice job on Verant's part. Now if they would just give melee a fighting chance again and put the cancel line back on agressive spell lists. I mean last time I checked, dragons seemed to enjoy casting strip enchantment spells on us, and I *THINK* that it isnt because they want to buff us.

I think it's kinda funny heh
And they DO need to fix the pumice/cancel thing

I completely agree...to a point. The evils that are just out in Kunark in complete safety and out of harm's way it's like, what's the point? Why did you come to a PvP server? I went to Kunark *once* to get a spell and I was so disgusted with the place I took off asap. The Kunark Gimps are back and this time they're all evil....
BUT, The evils that are staying on Antonica I am finding very very useful and good players. Well organized and such. Especially the ones growing up in Odus. When you have to defend your territory on a regular basis, you get good practice at it. I admire the Newts and Goods in the same way- they are constantly in contact with the other 2 teams. Makes for a healthy PvP environment, and well it's fun. I like knowing some of the tricks of the trade now...

Evil lost 30,000+ points and will probably continue to lose points from now on. If someone kills another with over 20 levels difference, they will lose points on the first kill.
The point system is a bit messed up, so they might change it again. If not, oh well, it just means evil won't get nerfed, ever.
Hah, kinda funny that the person who dropped off the board was shame, a lvl 54 newt druid. It aint just evils that were farming greenies. Don't be so hasty with the tar and feathers.
Had a guy tell me last night, ""You only kill greens"....which would mean I was wacking lvls 5, so I don't know what he was on.

I kill greens...it's great...
-=Chases a moss snake around=- Come back here, you bastard! "I'm your huckleberry..." - Doc Holliday Kontan - Mut (Half Elf) - Bardic Pimp - Anarchia!
Shikyo - Feir'Dal - Assassin Sylvya - I'm still your huckleberry...

Though I have yet to try cancel magic line on the other teams, it seriously counts as a non agressive spell!? <sigh>.
As for greenies I let them pass unless they are in a higher level zone than they should be, but even then I tell them to leave the zone now and I will let them live but if they stay they are open game.

The point structure change is a good thing imo but will not prevent folks from farming greens. Although now for maximum points they need to be creative. Like in EF today there was a 40+ necro rooting and tapping for his lower level buddy to swoop in for killshot and points at little or no risk to themselves.

Coming from the evil perspective, let me clue you in a bit. I've been killed five times so far. Four of those kills came at the hands of high high red, corpse-camping newts in WC (one of which was Bagen). When my guild went hunting Dharma and her sidekicks they found them in LOIO, a zone they were too high to pve in, attacking high teens evils. Shame, the lvl 50whatever newt druid fell off the charts b/c of his bottom feeding. He STILL resorted to training my guild during a raid on Saturday hehe.
Bottom line: there was bottom feeding going on within ALL the teams, you just saw one side of it.
As for the evils in Kunark...um, why wouldn't they fight there? No zone is "safe", and the newt/good teams have a closer "home-base" zone (FV) than non-iksar evils do (OT). And personally if I was an Iksar I'd just stay there rather than go to a continent where I'm hated in EVERY city.
I wouldn't say evils in Kunark are avoiding pvp at all. In fact, I'd venture to say that Kunark is phaseII of pvp on Sullon Zek, followed by Velious. Kunark will end up being a nasty war zone, especially LOIO...and if it doesn't you can only blame the newts and goods hehe, cause the evils are already there.
