Is there a difference between @#%$ and @#%$? You see in the first one, I typed the curse word and it was automatically filtered, whereas the second I actually typed out the little symbols.

So, since the viewer can never tell the difference, is there any difference at all? It like, makes you question everything we think we know.

Does the original curse remain, dynamically being altered to the symbols everytime a new browser refreshes it, and thereby retain at least a portion of it's original self, being forever 100% curse and 100% censor (or 50/50 each?), or does it upon being posted get changed forever to the symbols of @-#-%-$? And if so, does it even remember it's old life, or from it's own existencial worldview, was it always @#%$ and no different from the @#%$ that was typed out?? Whoa.

I tend to believe that @#%$ is like the woman changing behind the screen. I mean, you can see her silhouette, all the curves, it's very suggestive and arousing, but you never get any of the details. Ultimately, you're left feeling unfulfilled and you know you need to wait until after midnight for the kids to go to bed and the adult stuff to come on TV. Or at least change to a premium channel.

It may well be a Simpsons quote. I don't know. I got it when I was browsing fark and some guy opened his arguement with that line. I don't think he was quoting the Simpsons because it wasn't separated from the rest of his text. It was the first sentence in his paragraph.
