Make Poison caps?

I am a level 55 Rogue, and my poison making seems to have run into a wall....

Previously, I put 5 points into Make Poison with Assassin Daran in Plane of Knowledge (Nov 15/02) to take my Make Poison to 220.

I then spent ages in Firiona Vie, making Spirit of Sloth.
However, I stopped getting skill-ups at (225) today (11/19/02).

I have since made 160 attempts, and with no further skill increases, decided to go see Assassin Daran again for another small boost.
However, the smirking Daran now tells me, "You are already trained to the limit of your abilities in Make Poison."

Is this possible?
I thought the calculation for class skill was (5 * level) +5, which would put me well over the 250 max at level 55.

What devious small print in invisible ink am I not seeing?

you need lvl 60 to max out poison... i dont know the formula i just know that
