faction in Katta

is all over the place. I would like to do the shield quest but am KoS from pre-nerf Lycea kills. Any suggestions on how to recoup faction would be appreciated. I have considered fighting in Seru and/or tenebrous mountains. Wondering which is better or are there other options.

Depends on your Level.

TM also only makes you improve Guard Faction.
Its a friggin Hazzle to get other Factions up =(

Therefore Syn Seru is a better option IF you can hunt there.

If you want to do the Shield Quest, you need to raise the Concillium Universus faction that Lcea and Phenic are on. To raise that faction, kill Heart of Seru mobs in Sanctus Seru:
