Side not, I'm stuck with the Blackburrow bits.. I've killed every gnoll in the zone a few times and havent seen the Blackburrow Skins or the Blackburrow Scalps.

Do these even drop anymore now that they added the newbie quests which need different pelt/skin conditions?

The skins only drop off the elites and captains, as I recall, and yes, they're very very rare, but yes, they still drop.

Check the vendors closest to Blackburrow. Can find the skins there occasionally.

The skins are, indeed, rare. My rogue camped for them on and off for about a week, and on the last day, all 4 dropped within about 2 hours of each other. Keep the faith and don't forget to offer donations for them to folks xp'ing in the zone.

Back in the days I did this quest, I camped a lot of time for the gnoll brewer to get that darn BB cask.
Skins were given to me by my guild leader.

Still, I read on some forum that the skins and the cask could easily found in bazaar.
Didn't check that, though.
