Yikes, I can just see some guy taping all those shredded credit card applications I've shredded over the years back together.

Does anyone know anything about meth? Is it so bad that one use turns you into an identity-theft zombie?

I don't think a single use of any drug is instantly addicting, but from what I've read and people who had meth problems I've talked too, it's a quick jump from sampling to blowing up your appartment if you have a addictive personality.

I dunno, people taking a drug that is explosive to make is kinda screw up. Also I wonder if all the cocaine users really know how it is made heh. Hara

I was a pretty hardcore meth addict for a year and half. I used almost daily (the only days I missed were the ones I slept through in their entirety). It's not an instant addiction, but it's pretty insidious. It's a functional drug, and can actually help you cope day to day, so it's not a drug that completely screws up your life when you get deeply involved with it. You can still hold a job and have a social life. You don't really notice you have a problem until it's too late.

I'm not suprised indentity theft is linked with meth use. My biggest problem when getting off meth was trying to find things to do with myself. Meth makes everything interesting, even stealing mail and going through trash and public records to steal identities.
