Greets all,

Does working Neriak faction help with getting to Tani to pick bottom piece? Tried twice using invis and illusion, but something always seemed to go wrong I think if I could get there without someone aggroing, life would be much easier

Hi. You are not yet level 50. Go do XP and have fun. It is very very possible to do the entire rogue epic in a weekend. Attempting to do it piecemeal before 50 and 200 lockpick skill is pointless.

But yeah, the Rogue epic is fully a luck thing on picking the notes. You could pick it early, but why? Ya can't do anything with em till 50.

U are using sneak hide and not getting an invis arnt u?....the only mob really sees thru sneak hide is the exterminator and a random couple of guards but as long as u con everything as any good rogue should.....

Anyway the real answer to ur question is..........

A rogues sneak/hide ability doesnt wear off unless you get hit by a spell, a mob hits you, or you zone. And as far as I remember, there are no see invis mobs on the route to Tani, and you can easily re-do sneak/hide as you enter each zone there.

So why are you using some invis spell?

In defense of going after the parchment before 50: Personally, I've always liked having things I could do alone, for those days when my friends aren't online and I don't feel like trying for a pickup group.

There's more to the game than just combat and levelling. Ragebringer is actually one of the better quests in the game, for people who like to take their time and engage in such things.

And while it's certainly true that someone who knows what he's doing and has support of powerful enough friends can do the entire quest in a day, it's also true that for some people it really is a big, epic thing that will take a long time and require grand adventures.

Actually the exterminator now sees through invis and sneak/hide. He will attack you and any guard between him and the zone will aggro.

Nothing wrong with getting the notes before 50, I know I did. PP was maxed anyway.

There are some quests to raise Neriak faction, I did some lightstone turnins to the gypsies in SRo to get the faction up, there is also a red wine quest in the library in Neriak that gives good faction hits.

But /agree on the invis questions what'd you use that for? Just use sneak hide, no reason to use spells. And remember to pop hide but not sneak when picking pockets.
