Smith Rhondo Question

I have accidently destroyed one of the Gems for the Breakdown of Communications quest (A Green Colored Gem Shard from completion of the Ferubi part of the quest). I think I have a few options but Im not sure what the best one is. Can anyone offer some advice please.

Do I....

1. Do nothing else but attend another Smith Rhondo raid, and re-hail Smith rhondo's memory to get another Rondo's report to hand in. This would give me another A Green Colored Gem Shard? (would this work considering I already have Kod Taz access), and will the hail still give me a report if i dont totally restart?

2. Say "rescout Ferubi" to TB in Abysmal, but will this mean I loose Kod Taz access? Then do the whole Smith Rhondo quest again?

I would petition to find out but im not stupid enough to waste my time waiting for a response.

unless you petition.. best bet is to just redo the hail of smith rondo. No, you won't lose your kod'taz flag from doing it.

Supposedly, you need to hail Fezbin to replace the missing items. No need to rescout (besides you don't lose access, you just lose your progression thru the breakdown quest)

In the end I just said rescout ferubi and have restarted that portion of the quest. As a rogue it doesnt take long to invis thru ferubi and talk to Smith Rondo and report back. So now all I need is to hail the ghost in the raid and get a report back to give to TB in Abysmal.

Yeah it sucks but nothing else was working, my own stupid fault for destroying the gem, but at the start of this expansion I had so much junk in my bank I didnt know what was what.

I recently restarted working on the BiC after years of letting bits and pieces sit in my bank. I had never completed the early parts of the quest but I had the Vxed and Tipt farming done as well as a few other parts collected.

I suspect I might have deleted this Rondo item too but I'm not sure. I got a tuned farstone from Taminoa and went to give it to Rondo (under the assumption that I never did this years ago when we used to raid him). I got this message:

Smith Rondo says 'I have no need for such a thing. Now leave if you want to avoid bloodshed.'

I checked my bank and have no Sealed Report, Rondo's Report or Green Colored Gem Shard. I know I hailed Rondo to bypass all that flagging back then but I had not done the earlier BiC steps, though I suppose I might have handed in the Tuned Farstone and Sealed Report. Would I have gotten the Rondo's Report in that case? Do I just need to hail him again after killing his raid version or do I need to jump through some other hoops to get this done?
