Anyone else having problems with no topics appearing as new in each forum, even when the forum list shows there should be new topics in here?

the old bookmark is no longer working properly
And Aidden is reindexing posts which I think is the culprit for the mismarking of "new posts" It IS acting a bit queer this morning. For me the forum index page shows all forums as having new messages, when I click say "Logged Out" 3 scattered threads are "new". This one was marked as read for some odd reason.

By the way, Aidden is indexing all of the posts so that the old imported ezBoard ones show up on the search engine. Currently they do not for some odd reason.

Hrmmm. Logged out, logged back in, asked to add a cookie, I said allow. Closed browser, opened it up, and still no ragebringers. /boggle

Nope. Logged out, closed the window, came back, no new ragebringer indicators.
Well, it was working fine.
But I come back to work, and still nothing is showing as new in this forum.
Are we gonna have to move back to EZBoard to get the read indicators working right? :evil

Cookies are PC-specific... if you use several PCs to access the boards, the topics are going to be marked in relation to THAT PC, not the others. Information about read/unread is not stored on the server, but on your clients.
It was showing that nothing new posted since about 4pm yesterday when I came in this morning. On the same PC.
I assume you are logged in?
if you are jsut looking through the forums logged out, then you wont get notification of new topics.
Are we gonna have to move back to EZBoard to get the read indicators working right?
Oh and I forgot to respond to this.. They are indeed working correctly.
the issue is gettign your system to now only think of the forums as www.thesafehouse.org and cookies to not be confused between the old site and new.
