Guess somebody made a oopsey.
Don't forget to gather the shreds of your reputation the the way out the door.
Haha, tons of people were all over this when he got charged, but nobody wants to touch it now that he's released, classic.
I don't remember the thread on the safehouse, if there was one...
Interesting that they managed to defame him with leaks to the press about how he had illegal pron on his computer, and now they drop the charges.

well its not like they gave up on him or something , they are still after him and they are going to get him one way or another
See the Patriot Act still works. Innocent man walks.
Or it encourages the prosecutors to hold the next guy without a lawyer or charges filed in open court.
or it creates a nation of Chicken Littles screaming "The Sky is Falling"
Sky doesnt have to all fall at once. A nice chunk of roofing tile can kill you dead just as final.
Quote:"General Miller and the government prosecutors and security officials determined that we would have had to release sensitive material if the case were to proceed on the charges of mishandling classified material. And because we wanted to adequately protect national security, we decided not to go forward," Costello said.Looks like a pretty clear line from that statement to a secret military tribunal to me. They're already working on their argument.
Give the government power and it will be abused, isn't that basic American doctrine?
