ok guys, I need some help finding a map of a MUD dungeon. It's really complex and I will describe it as best as I can, worse thing is, I don't know the name of the game.
It is a labrynth, in the game it has rooms that are 30x30 (not sure if this matters). The things of note is there is a "center" to work toward. Inside this dungeon there are switches to pull to open areas, riddles to open doors, and there seems to be "teleporting" areas, This maze also has minotaurs in it, but this is another fact that I don't know if it is from the orginal MUD.
It would be roughly the size of 1/3 of a sheet of graph paper.
I don't know if this is a false hope hoping someone recognizes it, but I'm -dying- w/ insanity on this damned maze!
EDIT: forgot to mention:
the floor is covered in mist, and it is made of stone. there are also moving murals in the version I'm playing in.
(NEW INFO)
So last night my players went back to a labyrinth that they had previously been in. They decided to try and find the treasure in the center. They found their way fairly quickly after a few dead-ends in the area before the actual maze. then they entered into the maze itself. the maze was 30ft wide and 30ft high hallways the walls had murals of minotaurs which would shift and change which made looking at the murals impossible to determine where they were. mist and fog filled the air making it hard to see very far. after about 120 ft or so they come to a wall in front of them, go left or go right? they go right
after a few fights they find that they are going in circles. how the hell did this happen? afterall they made a map and they should be about half a mile from that dead body. so they marked it up with their weapons and pressed on. they ran across more dead bodies, then the same one. patterns started to emerge.
they dealt some non-lethal damage to one minotaur and tried to convince him to lead them through in exchange for his life. the minotaur agreed after a little bit o' torture. then the party was attacked by a group of minotaurs. an attack of opportunity killed the captured minotaur (they should have used a different attack). the minotaurs were using guerilla tactics of run in get a hit and run away.
they spent the whole session in the maze. no one died, the druid's animal companion came the closest,... less than 5 hp. one told me this morning he dreamt of it. also they went back to their map and spotted more patterns and decided that they were in the same 3 basic areas over and over again. they found their way out. but immediately went back in. all in all it was a frustrating but somewhat humorous night. the role-players took over while the ones who prefer to fight got completely bored, because i was rolling hardly and random encounters... well i was rolling but the dice told me no monsters came.
they got the idea that they were being teleported throughout the maze. while they were fumbling through the maze i thought of a few ways to find their way other than their hit or miss tactic.
