The Ring is the official secret society of Safehouse Rogues.
What MMORPGs have an organized Ring?
At this time, the Ring is only officially represented in Everquest and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Our rogues’ influence is felt throughout the MMORPG realms, however.
What does The Ring do for stalwart rogues?
The first rule of the Ring is to not talk publicly about the Ring .
What is required of membership to the Ring?
The Ring accepts active EverQuest rogues of 20th level or greater into our fold. Said rogues must also be members of the Safehouse in good standing.
How do I apply to The Ring?
Fortunately, due our new forum software, The Ring application and approval process has been greatly streamlined!
To apply:
Log in to the Safehouse.
Go to the User CP page.
Under the heading Miscellaneous" click Group Memberships.
Select the appropriate radio button ("Ring Members" for Everquest or "Vanguard Ring" for Vanguard: Saga of Heroes) and then click the Join Group button at the bottom of the Group Memberships page.
The next page asks you to state the reason for your request. Make sure you supply the correct server and character names. If you don't enter the correct name of your rogue, you cannot be confirmed.
All requests MUST follow this scheme- <Game - In Game Rogue Character Name - Server>
e.g. "Everquest - Antonius Bayle - Shadowcross" ANY REQUESTS THAT DO NOT FOLLOW THIS SCHEME WILL GET REJECTED AND DELETED!
Your character will then be confirmed in game by a warden of your server or by a member of the Hand of the Ring. Your Safehouse membership will then be flagged as a Ring Member.
Please note: Character confirmation isn’t an instantaneous process. Since it requires “live” interactivity, there may be a reasonable delay in contact.
How will I know when/if I am accepted?
The server warden or Hand of the Ring will have spoken to you in game. Chances are your Safehouse account will be flagged shortly thereafter.

I applied weeks ago and haven’t been contacted yet. What should I do next?
Verify that your application is still pending by checking the group memberships page in the User CP. If it is still pending, your request will still be under the Join Group column. Contact the Safehouse Moderators (shmods@thesafehouse.org) with your character and server information, explaining that you have an application pending that is overdue. Moderators will pass this information off to the Hands of the Ring and will get a reply to you as soon as possible.
If, however, you are given the option of applying again, do so. Chances are there was an error in the details you supplied the Ring, or repeated attempts at contact were unsuccessful and your application was closed. If you reapply, please be sure you supply all information as requested in the application.
Please note: It would be in your best interest NOT to spam the moderators on an hourly/daily basis trying to get a response. This will likely get you moved to the back of the list.
