We're all philosophers in the same way we're all artists. Some of us take it quite seriously and do it well. For the rest of us, it's just something to do between sips of beer. -Wraine
Totally psyched right now, cause we started playing an all Dragon campaign.
Storyline is this, basically, the number one evil god in this campaign world(I think we're playing in Grayhawk) just got overthrown. He was the god of the Draconian Empire and he almost conquered the entire world. Well now his armies are withdrawing, and in the wake of that, dragon eggs from their armies are getting left behind all over the place.
So basically in a twist, since the Draconian empire is always taking dragon eggs of good dragons and using magic to warp them into evil things, a group of metallic dragons has gathered up a whole bunch of eggs and is using magic and upbringing to ensure that they grow up to not be evil.
And that's essentially us. If your dragons alignment was evil, you are essentially pushed one level over to neutral. We're all juvenile age, and we started with 1 level in the class of our choice.
I'm totally playing a Shadow Dragon rogue, cause, it's the ultimate rogue, and when am I ever gonna get a chance to play that again! The group also has a bronze dragon, a fairy dragon, and a chaos dragon.
It's pretty awsome so far. It's kinda like Naruto, with a bit of Harry Potter or something. Basically we've just hit the age where they send us on missions. And we're kind of competing against the other clutches to see who does the best job completing missions. The dragons in charge are really strict though, we don't get to keep any money or items we obtain during missions, and we get awarded treasure afterwards based on our performance. I guess they're keeping us on a short leash in case their brainwashing doesn't hold on some of us evil dragons.
I'd bet a big amount of money and say it's not Greyhawk but Krynn...

I was thinking or running a similar type of campaign. I just got Dragons of Faerun and the Dragonomicon for my birthday. Also have the old 2nd ed. Council of Wyrms.
But yeah, with draconians capturing good dragon's eggs to turn them into evil things, that sounds like Krynn (Dragonlance).

It's definatly Greyhawk, but keep in mind that our group has deviated from the normal Greyhawk timeline a long time ago. The entire rise of the god Drax the Destroyer and his world spanning Draconian Empire are things that only transpired in our group.
