Hi there. I haven't played EQ since about 2006 and I see that a lot has changed. Now I see magelos with people with 47 dmg piercers (man I remember when a 20 dmg piercer was ridiculous). What kind of backstab values are people putting out nowadays? I used to get a triple backstab for 3k,3k,3k and I thought I was god. I'm sure thats not the case anymore. Anyone have any parses they can post? Of course I quit at level 70, and now there's folks that are level 90 out there.

Those 47 damage piercer weapons are not available until about 85, but they do look nice. There is still lag behind one hand slash and blunt weapons though.

I'm generally in the 4-5k range without getting into the burn discs. Up to 20k on burns. Top tier group weaponry, ~1600aa

Man, it is hard to find groups now! I am level 75 and I can't find a group. If I get a cleric merc, what are the best zones where I tank and the cleric merc heals me?

I liked Splitpaw for how easy it was. One of my toons just lived there from 73 to 77, can usually make 9-12 AA's a Lessons burn. Mobs are spaced, just beware the healing types (wavecrashers) they are a pita, the rest is turn and burn.

You might want to try out Thalassius, especially when you max Anatomy and can assassinate the Kedge-type mobs. Even if you can't quite assassinate them yet, they are caster mobs with low HP's, with a vast majority of them being single pulls. This should work out well for you, especially if you move deep enough into either direction of the temple and focus on killing the Kedge models.

I enjoyed Valdaholm. Did 75 through 88 there. You can start on the mobs just passed the gate and work your way to northgate. I did aa at 90% the whole time and knocked out a few thousand aa's and averaged about 5k plat an hour there. Like it so much I run alts the same way there.

I came back from a break since dec of 07 and got convinced by some old friends to hit Fippydarkpaw tlp server. I was hesitant to start over but it was the best decision. There's a lot of fun stuff going on there. We're in GoD era atm and I'm loving it. If you feel out of place I'd give it a try. Feel free to look me up.
