Miami police shoot man found gnawing another's face: report
(Reuters) - A Miami police officer shot and killed a naked man found chewing on another man's face on an exit ramp of a major causeway, local media reported on Sunday.
The incident occurred on Saturday when a woman flagged down a police officer after seeing two men fighting on a pedestrian walkway of the exit ramp near downtown Miami.
The Miami Herald reported the police officer approached the scene and saw a naked man gnawing on the face of another man. The officer called for the man to back away but he ignored the order and the policeman responded by shooting him once, the Herald said.
The man continued his attack after being shot, leading the officer to fire several more shots, the Herald said, citing police sources.
A Miami police spokesperson could not be immediately reached for comment. Several witnesses recounted details of the incident to local television stations.
The man who was attacked was in intensive care on Sunday at a Miami hospital, the Herald reported.
Damnit, some random cop already has a jump start on me on confirmed kills. I gotta hurry to the print shop and get kill decals printed that I can stick on my vehicle.

So it seems a crime scene photo has been leaked, probably shouldn't post it here... yikes is that dude's face mangled. I didn't even know the guy lived, if he makes it, he's probably going to wish he hadn't.

Photo's have found their way online, saw a image of the scene and of the victim at the hospital... lets just say when they say he was chewing on his face they weren't being honest, everything above his lips is missing.

A man remains in critical condition in hospital after stabbing himself repeatedly in front of police and then throwing his intestines at them.
Wayne Carter, 43, called police in Hackensack, New Jersey at 10 p.m. on Sunday to say he had a knife and was threatening to hurt himself.
Officers swooped on his Clay Street home and kicked in the door to his room, which he had blocked with furniture, Lt. John Heinemann said.

Carter was cowering in the corner of the room holding a 12-inch knife.
When he stood up, he shouted at the officers and frantically stabbed himself all over his body, leaving more then 50 stab wounds.
Officers saw that his intestines were sticking out from a wound in his abdomen, Heinemann said...
One wonders how exactly you make the sales pitch for that.
I think the initial sales pitch was "This stuff is so good you'll wanna slap your momma." How it turned into eating a guy's face off is a bit of a stretch.

I had pet snakes...I am bothered by his feeding a kitten to the snake and I fed my snakes rats, rabbits and chickens.
We used to stun the snakes food by putting it in a burlap sack and then bashing it on the ground hard enough to stun/kill the food.
Rats, most people don't like although I used to have pet rats too and they can be quite affectionate. Rabbits and Chickens, are seen as people food too. Most people see Kittens as pets.

This is where the idea of hating him for feeding it a kitten gets dumb. I can understand someone not caring about feeding a snake rats or mice, since they aren't really a "normal" pet, but caring about the kitten more than a rabbit? The type of rabbit you get at a pet shop aren't viewed as nasty pests, unlike the pet variety of mice and rats, they certainly aren't viewed as "people food" either. Unless you were catching wild rabbits to feed to the snake to get rid of them, your argument REALLY goes to hell with that second paragraph.
There's a difference between disagreeing with someone's revulsion at the idea...and saying you "just don't get it." If you're completely incapable of understanding why it would horrify some people, then reference my statement above.

Rabbit stew can actually be quite good.... I've had it a couple times.
And yes, I'm sorry, but kittens are way more lovable pets than rabbits. At least in general.

Yeah WILD rabbits, not the kind of stuff you get from a friggen pet store

We DIDN'T buy from a pet store.
We bought the rabbits and chickens from a live butcher shop in China Town when we lived in Los Angeles. They were gonna be somebody's food regardless. They weren't cute white bunnies.

the only difference betweeen food rabbits and the ones you buy in a pet store, is that the ones FARMED for food are sold in butcher shops and the ones you buy as pets are sold in a pet store

No...the only difference IS...the ones sold at the butchers are sold by the pound and the ones at the pet store are really expensive as food for a snake.
PLUS I do not recommend feeding snakes chickens, wringing their necks is harder that you would think and IF your snake is a newb at eating chickens it can take FOREVER for them to get the hang of swallowing the wings and it looks AWFUL. We seriously thought we were going to have to find an emergence snake vet to remove the half swallowed chicken...PRE home computers so we weren't even sure where to start to find one.
