Work computer (video editor) won't boot up.

I'm getting no post beeping at all. Front case is showing power LED but the HD led never indicates any activity. Dual monitors are showing "no connection". Power supply LED is on and green. CPU and case fans are spinning. DVD will eject, all 4 HDs are spinning. Keyboard capslock and numlock won't won't turn on. USB mouse won't light up.

found what I believe to be the CMOS reset and pressed it. still same issue.

My guess is dead MB.

any thoughts or recomendations?

It might be a dead mb and most likely is..First however unplug everything except the MB and Video if no onboard available and see if you can post. If you get post then, start by plugging things in one by one until it quits. I have seen bad hard drives cause the same behavior.

"Green" machines sometimes do odd things. Try this: Unplug the power cable from the tower. Hold the power button for 30 seconds. Plug the power cable back in. Give it a whirl.

You know you're bored when you run the original Zork on an Apple ][ emulator in SuSe running as a virtual machine on Vista64.

Your flux capacitor may not be getting the 1.21 jigawatts needed, try restarting your Mr. Fusion and making sure it has enough fuel as well. If thats all good, then yeah, probably MB is wonked.

It is likely the motherboard then, just make sure the PSU is putting out enough power. LEDS and Fans don't always mean the PSU is good, I have seen plenty over the years that did that but still couldn't boot a computer. If you don't have a multi-meter the only way to test it is of course replacing the parts.
