"Yes but does she gobble balls all day because she wants to and it's her own bold embracing of her feminine side and the whole thing may be a post-modernistic performance art questioning the role of women in a sexually objectifying male dominated world or is she doing it because she's been pressured into believing she needs to do so to be accepted as a woman by a patriarchal tyranny of sexual objectification? Clearly if it is the former you are only attempting to marginalize this great feminine icon to reduce the threat of her soft rational feminine side to your aggressive penis ruled masculine dominance due to sexual intimidation and fear of inadequacies when faced with a strong woman reclaiming her sexuality." -Koru

Irritating adware
Reply With Quote   #1

I'm getting this really annoying ad. It keeps on popping up all the time, and I don't know how to get rid of it. I looked for a programing running in ctrl alt delete, but I couldn't find it there.

Also, I checked msconfig, but there are tons of things there, I have no idea which it was (I checked under programs running at startup)

I ran adaware 6.0 and spybot, neither of them found it.

Can anyone help?

FYI from msconfig I have the following running at startup:
hpsysdrv
hkcmd
hpqcmon
hpgs2wnd
KBD
sgtray
realsched
RECGUARD
NvCpl
nwiz
ccApp
ccRegVfy
ALCXMNTR
ps2
hpztsb08
HPWuSchd
hpotdd01
qttask
NVMCTRAY
Microsoft Office
Quicken Scheduled ... (probably update or something)

Thanks for any help, this is really irritating.

Yalum gave you the proper advice.
Just to let you understand what is going on. What you're getting is not a product of anything you're running or any spyware on your machine. Its coming from XPs built in messenger service. It was intended for network administrators so you could easily send messages out to multiple people. It was quickly used as spam once XP hit the market. You can turn off this service, just read the stickied message.
