Teh wrestler big boss man dead
Reply With Quote   #1

Ok, When I was younger. Ya knwo 10 years old. Wrestlign was interesting. I was channel flipping during the debate tonight and ran across wrestling. It said it was in memory of the wrestler the big boss man. It showed his obituary basically

Here is the story

http://www.canoe.ca/NewsStand/Ottawa...24/641226.html

Now i personally dont watch wrestling, Ya know at age 13 it just lost its magic, a lot of people like it. Im happy for them, everybody needs to have a hobby or interest.

However in looking for the news story I found this.

http://www.theddt.com/theddtmessageb...f=6&t=1289

If there ever was a term for stupid redneck, these idiots take the cake, and the Kripsy Kreme bakery.

Anyway still a shame the guy died at what some consider an early age. He was a good ole country boy that did good in something he liked. I will remeber that the most from him.

Sad to hear it, I liked the BBM. He was a great entertainer during his time in the WWF.

Yeah, quite sad. I'm a big fan of wrestling and bumped into him several times over the years outside the wrestling venues and he was always smiling, shaking hands with the fans, and signing autographs even when his character was a heel. Definitely came off as a genuinely nice guy, unlike a lot of the other pro wrestlers.

Aw man, that sucks. :( Funny enough I'd just been wondering recently where he'd been, since he's been off of WWE for so long.

One of my favorite wrestling storylines of recent years was when Bossman, Big Show, and Al Snow had a feud going. At different points in that feud Bossman cooked and fed Al Snow his own dog, and Bossman also hooked Big Show's dad's casket onto his car and drove off with it during the "funeral".. Big Show was also hanging on to the casket that was skidding down the road. The car was the funniest part of that, he'd strapped this gigantic megaphone onto the top of it and was yelling at Big Show the entire time. Neither of those are as funny in print but they were SO absurd they were hilarious. This feud also sparked the phrase "You're a nasty bastard, your momma says so" that my friends and I used to say way too much... lol.

Ha, I found clips of that feud, along with other matches, on raytraylor.net here

Sad part of their business is that so many of them end up with heart problems, bad knees ect from all that extra muscle weight they carry around. Lot of stress to put on a human skeleton.

Ever notice how the true entertainers always share the same qualities.

They are happy or jovial, take time to meet with fans in a cordial manner. Even when its a detrement to themselves.

People remeber them for years.

Although I am not a fan of her music, i have heard at autogrpah signings that dolly parton stays till the line is empty. She takes her time with everybody.

Its amazing how you almost never hear of britney spears or some of these other celebertys do anything like that in anyway.

They fade into history while it was the good entertainers who are talked about years later.

Agreed, the true entertainer appreciates those who helped make them what they are.

Well, it was in 1999, and the main focus that entire year was the Rock.. then Jericho signed with WWF and moved over as well. So this was really a side storyline, but it still was awesome and got a decent amount of TV time for everyone involved. I believe the Bossman/Snow/Big Show storyline was the beginning of the Hardcore division, or at least involved with it in some way... I don't remember exactly though.
